Can you save money on some antibiotics by getting them at the pet store?

I heard that sometimes the same active ingredients in human medicines are available cheaper and over-the-counter at the pet store.

1. It's dangerous as the quality control and purity isn't regulated as well. Bottom line is there are better ways to save money medications.
