dog health help!!!??

PLEASE help me find the illness of my dog!! I'm worried the illness is fatal, because my dog has this very often. here's the symthoms: high fever not eating well turning very skinny very weak and she has chills or you can post a website that is very helpful. btw, i'm taking to the vet today. HELP!!!! my dog is a chihuahua, she's 3.

1. You are wise to take your dog to the vet. It can be any number of things and a vet will be able to do testing and tell you what it is. Best of luck - I hope everything turns out OK.
2. Sounds like the beginning stage of parvo Could be some sort of parasite though like tapeworms or heart worms. But just get him to the vet cuz I really can have know idea without knowing how old it is to narrow down the culprits.
3. Please just take it to the vet NOW. dont' wait on us to answer this one. Dogs can go down hill very fast especially if it's a puppy. Get to the VET!!!!!
