Havanese Or Maltese dogs?

I have been looking into getting a dog and these two i really like Which 1 do you like better?(links @ bottom) Which 1 is cheaper most likely? Where did you find this out? which 1 has a higher expectancy to live longer? 1. One of the best dogs you can get is a rescued one. They are cheaper then from a breeder and sometimes even know a few tricks! Best of all your saving their life and will repay you every day of the rest of theirs.
2. I have worked with both, and they are both nice dogs. I personally like the look of the havanese better. A maltese will cost you less money as they are more common. They are small dogs so have a pretty long life expectancy as long as they are taken care of and fed a high quality food. "does not fight" is going to be based completely on how you raise the dog. If you keep the dog well socialized, it will be happy and healthy and get along with people and other dogs.
3. we all know that malteses are cuter but the truth is they are crazy! They bark non stop! My neibor has one and it is phyco! We were taking my dog for a walk and a maltese bit him! Get the havenese! They are great companions!!!
4. I think putting Maltese into one category like that is unfair. I had a Maltese and she was a doll. She was very loving and sweet and protective and loved people. I have a Maltese mix and she is a sweetheart LOVES people and loves other dogs. She only barks once in a while (which I know I am very lucky :) I think that all dogs are different even if they are the same breed they all have their own personalities just like people. If you buy a Maltese from breeder they can be around 1500.00 or more or less same for the Havenese. They are both such cute dogs I would just educate yourself as much as you can on both breeds.
