How to get rid of a tick problem?

Please, I hope you can help me. When we got our pup about 6 months ago, we treted her with Frontline to kill her fleas & ticks. It was time to give the treatment once again but we coulnt find this specific medicine in any pet store so we got one by the brand Hertz. Now she does'nt have a single flea, but we recently discovered she has been getting more and more ticks,actually, it's been in these last 3 days. The more we get rid off, the more they appear. We have given her baths with a medicated soap (it says it kills ticks & fleas) to see if the problem goes away, but no luck... Is there any other way we can get rid of this pest?

1. Keep a chicken or two in your yard. They'll eat ticks. Honestly, there's not a lot you can do for the dog specifically-if you have a serious number of them in your yard or the dog's general running area, they're going to get on her no matter what treatment she has. Talk to a specialist or an exterminator, and also your vet.
