my cat was poisioned what should i do?
someone put hartz flea one spot flea medicine on my cat last night, hes starting to have allergic reactions, im upset because im so antihartz. it was my mom i think and she didnt know how dangerous hartz actually is. the website is http//:www.hartzvictims.org well i washed him this morning and got most of the crap off him. i want to wash him again, but that was way to difficult. i heard that hartz well pay vet bills, if your pet has allergic reaction to there product and needs vet treatment. i want to call them and be like "yo, my mom puts this on my cat and i want you to pay the vet bill so it can properly be taken off my cat before he starts having seizures and the vet bill will go up) my cats acting normal, besides the hair falling out in clumps, but this is day number 2. and syptoms can creep up on you until its to late what should i do? http://www.hartzvictims.org

- hopefully your cat is at the vet now.
- get him to the vet ASAP!
- You need to go to a vet, it could be the same, or different vet, but that is pretty serious!!! Good luck!!!
- bring him to the vet!
- Yes def take him to the vet. If you don't have the money then at least call and ask your vet about it.
- Well that happend to me over the winter. the guy at the store told me that he uses it all the time on his cat so we got it. Wrong thing to do my cats I have two of them and they both ended have major seizures. It was one of the most awful things i had been through. They both we limp and were on the edge of death. My best advice is that u should take the cat to the vet or u can also call the animal poision center. I know my cats had to have medication through a IV they were at the vet for three days that is some awful stuff. I also dont know about them paying any vet bills. I should look into it though cause my bill was out of the ball park but for our cats we would sell our house. None the less they made a full recovery and are happy and healthy today. BEST ADVICE only use advantage for fleas it costs a little more but it saves u in the long wrong.
- Take your cat to the vet if you know that he/she is allergic to that stuff. Worry about getting compensation lfor the vet bill ater. This is your cat's life your messing with. Go to the vet ASAP!!!
