My dog is dying PLEASE HELP.?

4 days ago, my dog was up and running around. She is around 13 years old, a border collie, and is EXTREMELY active. 3 days ago, I woke up to find her lying on the ground. I called out her name sweetly, petted her, and gave her a treat. She didn't even wag her tail. I know that sounds odd for her not to do but trust me, she wags her tail ALL the time. I tried to coax her up to go to the bathroom, but she physically couldn't get up. You could tell she tried though because the whole time she was whimpering, trying to get up. I had to hand feed her and she ate which is good that she has an apetite. 2 days ago, I woke up to find her lying in her own urine. (please don't say that's gross because I find it heartbreaking). She was in the same condition that day except it smelled like fish. (urine) She wagged her tail a LITTLE BIT but not much. I really need to take her to the vet but I physically don't have the money. Is there anything natural (not medicine) I can give her? HELP

It sounds like your dog suffered a severe stroke, so... sadly, no, there is nothing you can do short of taking her to a vet (and having her put down). We grieve with you. This is always a very hard thing to witness.
You need a vet. She is very sick and has no hope of getting better unless you take her right away.

Call your vet right now and ask if there is any advice they can give you. Even if you can't take her in, they should still be able to help you over the phone.

Call your local animal shelter. You need to help her right now to eliminate her suffering. Maybe the shelter can offer you help with euthanizing her.
Sounds like parvo to me. Edit: Wow, I guess my Vet was wrong when my dog showed these symptoms.
take her to the vet, tell the vet you have no money but willing to pay off or volunteer time, if he is a good vet you's should reach an agreement.
It sounds like your dog has had a stroke. I know it's hard but the best thing to do is take her to the vet & let her go. Just by the way you are worried about her, she has probably lived a great life. So do her this one last thing...let her go with dignity. My thoughts are with you - I know how hard this is
That must be hard to deal with. Tell the vet it is an emergency and tell them you have no money. Maybe they will let you do community service or something. Good luck and best wishes.

Take her to the vet. If you were that sick, what would you want someone to do for you? They will work out a payment plan for you.
Awww I feel very sorry for your and your collie.. She is old and their is really nothing you can for her except take her to the vet and then there is probably nothing they can do except if she is suffering to put her to sleep so that she doesn't suffer anymore.. I know that sounds harsh but If you love her its really the best way. The only other thing they may tell you is take her home and love and care for her until its her time to go.. it may also help by telling her its ok to go and that you will always have her in your heart. I know it sound strange but dogs are just like human sometimes they hold on until they know you are going to be ok when they are gone.. You are in my thoughts and I really hope everything works out for you
something is seriously wrong with your dog. there isn't going to be anything anyone can recommend on here that will help in my opinion. the fishy urine is especially troublesome to me, though I am not sure what that means. some vets offer payment plans, you can apply for carecredit. go to carecredit.com and see if there is a vet in your area that will take it. you need to do ANYTHING you can to get this dog to a vet.
Unfortunately, there is not anything you can do but take her to the vet. Ask them if there is anyway you can set up a payment plan. Your dog is not well. She is obvisously loosing bodily functions which means it could be minutes, hours, possibly days but she is going to pass if you don't get her help. I am extremely sorry that she is so ill, my dogs are like my children and I can't stand it when one of them gets sick. Please just call the vet and explain to them what is going on and try to set up a payment plan. Even if she passes, you will still need a way to dispose (a horrible word to describe it) of her body. I will pray for you and your dog.
Check with your local animal shelter. Many shelters offer veterinary services donated by local vets for free or at a reduced cost according to income. If not, contact a local vet and let him/her know your situation. They may offer to help you at a reduced cost or on a charity basis. Even if it requires swallowing your pride, just do it. Don't let the poor doggy suffer for any reason.
I know you don't have the money just go to the vets and tell them that and see what they can do. They should at least get you'r dog a check-up for free. idk what the life expectancy for a border collie is, but 13 is pretty old, i wish i knew how to help, cuz i am a dog lover i've grown up with many dogs and i have 8 now but the oldest one's ever lived to be was 17, it was heartbreaking when she passed, but sometimes there's nothing you can do, idk if i would even try the vet, cuz they might just tell you they'll have to put her down and idk if you would rather her pass at home where she's comfortable or at the vet, and whoever that philip guy is, he can fucking go to hell! you dont hit a dog with a shovel! thats animial cruelty! sorry i couldnt help you :'( best of luck to you <3/Cece ccj1416@yahoo.com
Do you have a local SPCA , humane society or animal control in your area. I know from watching Animal Planet's Animal Heroes that the SPCA or animal control will help you out in the situation that you're in. I am truly sorry that you are being forced to endure watching your dog suffer a slow death. I hope that I have helped you find a way to end her suffering, even though yours is not going to be so easy to end. My thoughts are with you. =((
I would get ready for a funeral
This is similar to what happened to my dog, who died of old age. she was very hyper her whole life, and up until two days before she died she was, then she barely moved. She even laid her head on the water bowl but wasn't able to drink out of it, i felt so helpless. For you, i would try to ask your friends or some family for the money because you need to help her and get her medical attention. Then have someone help you carry her out to the car and come with you to the vets so they can help you pay for it. I hope she gets better and doesn't die. my sincerest sympathy is with you, i hope all goes well.

It does sound as tho the poor thing has had a stroke. Call your vet and explain the situation, tell them what has happened to your dog and the fact that you have no money. The vet will advise you what you should do....either they will offer free or cut price treatment or they will be able to put you in touch with a charitable organisation that can help. It is quite likely that your dog will have to be put to sleep but at least she will no longer be in any pain. As far as anything natural you can give her....your love, tenderness and attention....so that when she takes her 1st steps to rainbow bridge she will go with love.
