how many mcg are in 3 mg? lupron depot?

i have a pet that use this medicine and i have to give her 100 mcs but it a lot cheaper to buy by mg's so can any one help me

1. You're spelling says mcs. If it's a typing error meaning MCG's, then they're are 1000 micrograms in 1 milligram. So they're 3000 mcg in 3 mg.

3. one thousand milligrams,mgs, are in a gram. check what dose you are actually trying to resolve. if you have any questions, contact the vet or pharmacy to make sure the dose is accurate. med errors account for many deaths and injuries each year. maybe going with the original script is the best idea. joe
